It’s from Black Lily, and looks really nice. But I wouldn’t be able to pay the price. So my advice is to find it on trendsales.dk. I got my black leather backpack for about 500 dk, which I don’t think is too bad..anyhow it’s quite a lot of money for a student, bah bah.

And then there’s this necklace, kind of following the trend for necklaces at the moment. But still, the leather detail makes it a bit different and I could easily imagine it creating a cool play in textures, if you were to wear all-black-silky-drape-like clothes.

These can speak for themselves.

My last addition to this post. An epic accessory for fall is a hat, and sometimes it just gives that extra spicy-ness to a look. I’m out looking for a hat in another color than black – I think a browny toned hat would be lovely.

Some fashionistas describe their fetishes as bags, jewelry or short jackets etc. For me, I think I’ve come to realize that my fetish is SHOES! I love finding special and detailed shoes, because I really think they can make an outfit. Wearing some nice shoes make me feel good..and besides that I keep finding myself in-aww by shoes! Maybe it’s because the making of shoes is so distant to me. I can sew – but I’ll probably never be able to create my own shoes.

Anyhow. Epic shoes from Acne in left side. On the right, very 90′s plateau from Vagabond. Finally Minimarket who always seem to do magic when creating footwear!

you’re sick Lita

Okay, so I was on my way to bed..but then I saw these new boots called Lita from Jeffrey Campbell via. NASTY GAL – how sick are they? I don’t know about the color… Of cause paired with a dress in a burnt color for autumn, it wouldn’t be bad at all, but black would do it much better for me. Anyway, they are high! Wonder how they are to walk in..nevertheless they remind me a huge deal of the Charles Anastase Dungeon Boots I blogged about here a while ago.

way way way cool retro sunglasses! The combination of the round shaped glasses and the über-nice frames, which are somewhat art in themselves, make them essential on my summer-wish-list! The price is also quite expensive, but maybe it’s possible to find some similar in a vintage store online? Find them here.                           C.E

summer look in question

Okay, so the black boot isn’t at all summer..but how epic is the chunky rubber sole, right? Anyway I think my summer outfits are going to be quite simple. Too much layering – especially in black – is too hot to wear, so it’s going to be clean. The white shoes from Opening Ceremony par Robert Clergerie would be perfect with brown legs and a white douce dress. The cleanness of the first ones (United Bamboo) is lovely! Actually I prefer those compared to the other white lace-ups from F-troupe with the brown soles.

I think I’m slightly convinced that’s going to be the white look triumphing this summer :)

craving so bad

I’m in L.O.V.E. with these shoes from Friis & Company‘s High Summer Collection! I saw them in the latest Costume Magazine, and at a price of only 499 kr (I think it was) I’m definitely going to get the light skin-tone-like colored ones. They’ll be perfect for my graduation combined with a draped white dress. I just hope that I can get them before this friday!

As I posted some days ago, the Acne Online Store is receiving a bunch of Fall pieces already – and among those was this new addition of the Joli boot. I think it’s such a classic style and I already had an eye for the ones Acne made last winter. The grey color is also super nice.

..er der ikke andet at sige om disse kjoler/buksedragter fra Halstons 2008 efterårs-vinter kollektion. Hvor kunne jeg bare godt tænke mig dem alle sammen. Den dybe udskæring, stylingen med den simple halskæde og vidden i skørterne. Helt skørt elegant.

I found the picture on the left in a historic database for clothing and shoes. The designer is Herbert Levine and it’s dated to the 1960′s. However there’s a striking similarity to the hyped Eileen Shields Tara boots, right? It always the never ending question in the designer world – when is it copying and when is it natural inspiration?

Anyway, the Tara boots have just arrived in Eileen Shields online shop having been out of stock for ages. I’m really thinking about ordering them, because they are simply epic. I already have some platforms, but it’s sandals so they won’t be any good in autumn/winter. Aaah, I just really want them!
