I Must Wander

I truly love my “Nude” coloured stiletoes. I bought them in Milan in April, but I cant remember what the store was called where I bought them. The heels is very narrow, so they arent the most stabile and confortable shoes I have, but they are very fabulous.

Pull Up the People

I’m loving the artist M.I.A.! Every time I hear her voice and the beat in her songs it makes me in such a good mood - and if you feel like that, I think it says a lot. My favorite song has to be Pull Up The People. She has made some different clothing items and I quite like the t-shirt, which has a bit of a rastafa-vibe to it.

Balcony Smoker

“NO, Love aint just a four letter word! let me put it like this, let me tell you… You feel it in your chest and in your arms, your feel it in your legs and in your heart. While word is what your find in newspapers. Have you ever read the newspapers, baby?… you know, you can wipe your ass with’em, or stuff your shoes or make a roof!”
(part of the Jenny Wilson song “Love aint just a four letter word”)
Jenny Wilson is a swedish sing-a-song writer, and I think she is one of my very favourite artists. Her music has a distinct, electro influenced style and a indie 80′s flow. I love it. Her first solo record “Love and youth” is like an ironic picture of the youth and all the the problems you run into when you are a teenager. But its not made in a corny way, its fun and very ironic. Her second album is called “Hardships” and is a very great mix of crooked and eksperimenting indie soul. It contains themes like motherhood and is a more mature record. She still uses the irony and sing about awkward situations and randoms thoughts. She used to be a part of the band “First Floor Power”, but went solo in 2004. Last month I saw her live in Copenhagen and she is wonderful live, with her controlled voice and 80′s style. Now I am just looking forward to see her on Roskilde Festival.

“Posters from Teenage Magazines. Closed the door, you locked it with a key. The Pictures would keep you company at night. Handsome strangers to hold on tight” (“A hesitating Cloud of Despair” from the record “Love and Youth”)

Stormy

The Alexander Wang fringe sweater in leather is wild, rock and chic. But considering the very high price, it would be nice to find it in a cheaper store – like the one shown on Fashion Flash from Gina Tricot or the more old-school one shown on Malie Hoffmann from Chictopia. The one from Ashish – known for their crazy-beautiful sequin creations – would be really gorgeous for going-out.

dull nail polish is god

The no-shine polish is so hot! It’s fun that new things still can be discovered in the area of nail polish. I really like that it has a rougher look and reminds me of something really nice to touch. I’m defiantly considering buying some different shades – but which to choose? The white one is quite good for summer and the black will just look chic anytime.
