About a week ago I saw CocoRosie live in Christiania, and im not over the koncert yet. I am still in the high and surreal mood I was when I was standing in the crowd floading away in the beautiful music. CocoRosie truly are like no other. If someone dont know them CocoRosie is an American duo formed by sisters Bianca Leilani “Coco” and Sierra Rose “Rosie” Casady.

Sierra mainly plays the guitar, piano and harp, and contributes vocals. Bianca sings and manipulates various children’s toys/electronic & instruments as well as other exotic noisemakers. The Music genre is a mix of dreamy opera and experimental electronic, every song is like a kinky fairytale. I would almost say either you love it or you hate it because its very special and freaky, I love the very experimental indie genre. Their attitude and style is a mix of random stuff they pick up the places they play their koncerts, spandex, weeks, sneakers and grafik t-shirts.

I couldn’t help it. I had to post the lovely lady in the corner! It could have supported prejudices about Rusia, but I think she’s just loving the attention – and who can blame her? I’m a devotee for the layering happening on the pic to the rigth, and then that she has my shoes from monki ♥ I would most dearly love to have a blouse and the same type of shorts. The dude is just the essence of coolness for guys who’re into fashion. One of the next looks I would like to put together has to resemble the boyish look in the corner! Saving the centerpiece for last; the sloping hat, the long black drapy dress, the disco gold heels and the studded bag in gold AND silver – über-cool.
