two tones

Some fashionistas describe their fetishes as bags, jewelry or short jackets etc. For me, I think I’ve come to realize that my fetish is SHOES! I love finding special and detailed shoes, because I really think they can make an outfit. Wearing some nice shoes make me feel good..and besides that I keep finding myself in-aww by shoes! Maybe it’s because the making of shoes is so distant to me. I can sew – but I’ll probably never be able to create my own shoes.

Anyhow. Epic shoes from Acne in left side. On the right, very 90′s plateau from Vagabond. Finally Minimarket who always seem to do magic when creating footwear!

you’re sick Lita

Okay, so I was on my way to bed..but then I saw these new boots called Lita from Jeffrey Campbell via. NASTY GAL – how sick are they? I don’t know about the color… Of cause paired with a dress in a burnt color for autumn, it wouldn’t be bad at all, but black would do it much better for me. Anyway, they are high! Wonder how they are to walk in..nevertheless they remind me a huge deal of the Charles Anastase Dungeon Boots I blogged about here a while ago.

craving so bad

I’m in L.O.V.E. with these shoes from Friis & Company‘s High Summer Collection! I saw them in the latest Costume Magazine, and at a price of only 499 kr (I think it was) I’m definitely going to get the light skin-tone-like colored ones. They’ll be perfect for my graduation combined with a draped white dress. I just hope that I can get them before this friday!

discovering

I found the picture on the left in a historic database for clothing and shoes. The designer is Herbert Levine and it’s dated to the 1960′s. However there’s a striking similarity to the hyped Eileen Shields Tara boots, right? It always the never ending question in the designer world – when is it copying and when is it natural inspiration?

Anyway, the Tara boots have just arrived in Eileen Shields online shop having been out of stock for ages. I’m really thinking about ordering them, because they are simply epic. I already have some platforms, but it’s sandals so they won’t be any good in autumn/winter. Aaah, I just really want them!

Acne-spam anno 2008

Som I nok kan regne ud, er både Cecilie og jeg helt skudt i Acne’s design. Skoene jeg har tegnet ring om fandt jeg et billede af for omkring et år siden, og jeg synes simpelthen de er nogle af de mest cool og nice platform/wedges jeg har set. Jeg kan bruge timer på at sidde og lede efter dem på outlet sider som sælger Acne, Ebay, Trendsales osv. – men jeg har endnu ikke været heldig. Dog er de andre sko fra 2008 kollektionen også total cool og ville ikke have noget i mod et af de andre par!

I‘m in love with all of them, but especially the ones on the left! The suede and the blank surface is a really nice combination. I’ve found them on sale for about 380 dollars (around 2000 dk) – but that’s still really expensive, I think!

The ones on the right reminds me of some Acne has designed – always good.. oh well, one can only dream.
