the now is sometimes good

Even though we’re already seeing photos of the Spring 2011 collection from Opening Ceremony, I think it’s important to live in the now (sounds corny, I know) even though the fashion world has already turned its attention on next year’s collections.

Anyway, I like the color palette of the 2010 Fall collection with the off-white, dark red and black – and of course the layering. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to have these images hanging next to my closet for inspiration in the early hours, when you sometimes don’t have enough brain activity to pull of any styling of your outfit.

I love the composition of this editorial from Dazed and Confused! It’s almost collage like with the layering as if it were pictures hanging on an inspiration board.
