craving so bad

I’m in L.O.V.E. with these shoes from Friis & Company‘s High Summer Collection! I saw them in the latest Costume Magazine, and at a price of only 499 kr (I think it was) I’m definitely going to get the light skin-tone-like colored ones. They’ll be perfect for my graduation combined with a draped white dress. I just hope that I can get them before this friday!

up-and-coming DIY project

FRIEND OF MINE
I just found these really cool wedges from the label FRIEND OF MINE (check out their other stuff as well!). I know they are quite similar to the ones Chloé Sevigny did for Opening Ceremony, but the nude color will go so nice to tanned legs. Unfortunately they only ship from Australia and a price of 429 Australian Dollars definitely doesn’t make them cheap!
Disse “buckle-up” wedges fra mærket FRIEND OF MINE er ret fantastiske.

I'm in love with the styling, the colors..
and I think there's something spacy about it as well, which I'm digging right now!

tough to subdue

I found these DIY-boots from the blog RackandRuin. I've had a thing for the 90's-buffaloish-boots
for a while, but they have to be more feminine than the "typical" ones seen in the nineties. I think
these are a bit to clumsy at the first, but after the DIY, they look ill! Would be really cool to find
some cheap thrifted shoes and do something similar - maybe with black studs instead?

Disse støvler er virkelig blevet forvandlet efter RackandRuin's DIY-project. På en måde ser de mindre
buffalo-ish ud efter der er blevet sat nitter på - hvilket falder helt i min smag. Det kunne være
fedt at finde nogle genbrugs støvler og kaste lidt DIY-støv over dem.

Plateau for my feet

These are among what I brought home from the fantastic Rome. I found them in Zara and well, fell in love with them. One night I wore them going out, trudging around in the small streets, and I must say they are quite comfy since my feet didn’t die. They where just what I was looking for; a perfect combination of wedge, suede and lace up.
Disse sko er nogle jeg fandt i Zara i fantastiske Rom, og de er lige hvad
jeg ledte efter; en perfekt blanding af wedge, ruskind og snøresko.
Plus de er behagelige at have på. Glæder mig til at få dem brugt.

ALEX/ander/WANG with a tjuhbang

I’m always counting down the days for when the designers publish their new collections for the next season. But if you have a hard time waiting around like me, it’s not an unknown secret that it’s a good idea to take a look at the RESORT collections to get the feeling about where the designer is heading for the next season. Alexander Wang is doing some crazy beautiful and young designs – and well it would be nice to if one could afford it. But well, I’ll settle for looking at the rough creations and maybe dreaming about a bag once.
What I love about his RESORT 2010 is that it is light and still has the Wang-vibe around it. In the colour palette you see a lot of light denim, douche brown suede, and beige, navy blue, grey and of cause black – which in my book are the perfect colours for this summer and the next as well. I love that he has experimented a bit with the cut for example on the grey shorts, but also that he has further developed the popular hits of this season like the knitted blouse, where the knitting is more large, or the fantastic zipper bags. The shoes of the collection looks fierce and I think the ones which are sandals in a light geryish tone will be a hit. My favourite looks are the ones containing the drapery – it seen before with the goddess dresses, but his outtake of it is so young and you can’t stop thinking that it would be a killer outfit for wearing everywhere!
