My friend Oskar is a design assistant at WDV-STUDIO and he told me to check out this cool new magazine called FROM. A Magazine about youth, not like we are used to in the form of young and creative people ind their twenties, NO this is about really young boys and girls! (and its not a magazine about parenting). 

The cover is simple and eye-catching. With intense eyes and a pensive expression a boy who looks like a grown man, captures the viewer’s attention. When you look closer you can see a hint of a teenage beard, fragile and almost see-through. When you turn the pages of this magazine you will certainly feel the power and the coolness of the young generations. It is very interesting to read about these small people, because these interviews, editorials etc. are serious and respectful articles about a topic that mostly is written from a grown up more concerned perspective.

Mostly the magazine is a visual mix of editorials and graphic features with teens and youngsters “doing their thing”. The pictures and the text have this “no worries” very uncomplicated feeling, like a kids drawing interpreted in many ways on every page. A very exciting project that focuses on the way we see the very important period of time in life, where it all begins. It’s freaking cold outside and I have had to return to wearing my thermo jacket underneath my lighter trench coat – uf! But I still felt like wearing lighter colors, just to prove to the weather Gods that I’m for one going to act like it’s summer.   
I’m wearing my grandmother’s old trousers, vintage silky shirt, vintage thai silk jacket, homemade metal ring, vintage thermo jacket and my father’s old trench – all oldies and goodies.

Come and buy some of our clothe, the flea is held the same place as last time, at Korsgadehallen  Nørrebro. Saturday the 9th of June from 10-16. Entrance is 35DKK There will be more than 100 stands with stylish ladies selling out from their fab closets.  See you there!
